Dog Eat Dog on Doomsday soundtrack
Brush me Doomsday-o!

Adam & The Ants News - Dog Eat Dog is currently featured in the new movie Doomsday and its soundtrack.
The Soundtrack CD, which consists of music mainly by Tyler Bates, opens with the Ants' 1980 top 5 smash and is followed by the brilliant Carnage Mix of Frankie Goes To Hollywood's Two Tribes. Both tracks are featured on the offical Doomsday Soundtrack MySpace page (linked below).
So what is Doomsday about? Well, according to the International Movie Database (link below), "Doomsday takes place nearly three decades after a lethal virus called the Reaper nearly wipes out Scotland and causes the rest of the world to wall off the country. When the Reaper begins to emerge in England 25 years later, an elite team and their leader (Rhona Mitra) are sent to the contaminated landscape of Scotland to find a cure."
Doomsday? Or have the Ants reformed?

The movie uses the taglines The end is nigh and Mankind has an expiration date and is written and directed by Neil Marshall (The Descent, Dog Soldiers and Killing Time) and stars Rhona Mitra (who the original Lara Croft game character was based on), Bob Hoskins, Sean Pertwee and Alexander Siddig (to name but a few).
This is just the latest in a trend of movies and TV shows featuring Ant tunes in their soundtracks. Marie Antoinette featured both 'Antmusic' and Kings Of The Wilde Frontier, whereas as the BBC TV drama Ashes To Ashes threatended to feature Ant tunes in the series, but failed miserabley. Even the 24 track CD is Ant-less, although there is still hope with the announcement of a second series due in 2009.
